Why did you choose a career path in healthcare?

I knew I wanted to do something in healthcare when my dad was diagnosed with cancer. He spent all his life taking care of me so when he needed to be taken care of it felt natural to step in and be there. It was a long hard road and when he passed, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of. Knowing that I can help people stay at home while getting the care they need is so rewarding.

Name your best work moment.

Some of my best work moments are when I involve my kids in what I do. Every Christmas my kids will dress up like elves and we will go around to local nursing homes and pass out cookies. Seeing the joy it brings to everyone means everything! Not only do the residents love it but my kids also look forward to it every year.

What do you look most forward to at work?

Being able to help someone get home to their loved ones!

Name some of your favorite things to do outside of work.

Outside of work we are a very active family, we love the outdoors!!! I coach my daughters 15U softball team and we also run the jr. wildcat wrestling program. Wrestling is huge in our family, not only do all three of my kids wrestle but my husband is also the high school wrestling coach. We are always on the go!
